Things are the way they are.
Hey folks,
A bit past time for me to jot down a little journal entry here; and a lot has happened since the last one.
First off I got my 'bucket list' trip out of the way. Okinawa was a great place to visit; although all of the pavement really did a number on my little footsies more than I thought it would! The people were awesome and I really miss their good cheer and smiles a lot. Also the local combini's (Family Mart if you were curious) home made oden was great to eat day or night! I did find a incredible curry ramen bowl; but never found it again after eating 2 bowls of it; no matter how hard I searched for it. I'm no fan of curry

Hey everyone,
Hope you are having a great fall; I sure am as the temps are finally getting to where I love them; low to mid 50's. Great sleeping weather to be sure; and just chilly enough to get the dogs all piled in my bed without sweating!
The title for this journal entry came about from a phone conversation from Friday morning. I had a couple appointments at the hospital; first to get a scan and the second one on Tuesday to get the results. Well the results were not good by any means. Where my cancer was mainly contained to a size about a pencil in diameter that ran through my liver; it is now the diameter of a quarter! That in the
Got my mind back after 4 years!
Geez, been awhile since I posted anything here. Lots of stuff happening this last summer; that's for sure.
Let's see, first off; I'm off the chemo regimen after my body built up a resistance to the last regimen. The oncologist upgraded my chemo to the next and final stage; but it was so overpowering (and my body was so weakened from the other stages); that my friends called the oncologist behind my back as I was reduced to stumbling around the house, sleeping for 18-20 hours a day and responding to questions with nods, grunts or single word replies. Big Sis had to drive me to the hospital as I was in no condition to drive; and they put in
Everything's all set up.
Like the title says; everything is set up finally for my bucket list trip in December. Got my passports a couple weeks ago; so the big things are done now. The passports, hotel and flights are arranged as much as I can this far out from the actual trip. I'll be calling the airline in the hopes of setting up the seating arrangements so my cousin Dan and I can sit relatively close to each other. The big thing on my mind now is how my body will handle being seated for such a lengthy period of time (roughly 12-13 hours on the first flight to Tokyo). But my oncologist said I could take along my prescriptions as long as they were in a zip lock

I got three words... Archive, archive, archive. I have 3 or four archives of my runtime floating around on various portable drives. This is especially true if you use a portable for your primary runtime as a few people tell me they do. Absolutely positively keep an archive on a completely separate drive. Of course you probably know this NOW.
